Sally Hansen Blues

It's been soooooo long since my last post. Senior year of college is starting soon, which is just crazy. Tonight, I did a purely Sally Hansen manicure, minus my base coat. I am wearing Sally Hansen Insta-Dri In Prompt Blue, a bright cobalt blue color reminiscent of Nails Inc. Baker Street or Essie Butler Please. I bought this one since it was cheaper than the other two brands (and probably better quality). In Prompt Blue went on smooth and opaque. It could have been a thick one-coater, but I decided to do two thinner coats. The color is a bit darker and a tad more muted in real life. On my ring finger, I have on a coat of Sally Hansen Triple Shine Sparks Fly, a silver glitter with a sheer bluish base. I got it as a birthday gift from my friend! This reminds me of the Essie Luxeffect polish in Set in Stones, which is the same type of silver glitter but in a clear base. The glitter is composed of larger hexagonal pieces with smaller silver bits thrown in. And to top it all off, I used my classic Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Topcoat. Weirdly enough, these two were my first ever Sally Hansen nail colors after 2+ years of collecting nail polish.

The color is coming off really weird on Blogger for some reason
